The Antique Boat Museum
Skiff Livery Building
Clayton, New York
The Museum’s program called for a Skiff Livery facility to be constructed on the campus wherein visitors could view the collection of St. Lawrence Skiffs and take reproduction skiffs out onto the river for a row. The architect saw an opportunity to accommodate the program while at the same time unify the image of the Museum and preserve the valuable open space of the Museum campus.
