The Antique Boat Museum Gold Cup Building Clayton, New York
Completed in spring 2001, the 6,100 square foot Gold Cup Race Boat Pavilion is designed to exhibit twelve of the original Gold Cup winners. The aesthetic emerges from a direct response to the construction details and structural system. Exposed trusses sit on a timber frame. Stained pine walls and wood decking complete the rustic envelope for these sleek race boats.
